  2. What is the return policy on goods purchased here?
    The return policy varies based on the product. As a rule, all sales are final for most of the products or services offered on our site. However, in most cases, defective merchandise will be exchanged by the merchant if the customer ships the item back to the merchant. Specific return policies may apply on certain product lines owned by affiliated businesses. In such cases, please send a mail to sales@bdbazar.com for specific details. Ordering
  1. How To Order

    Placing an order at bdbazar.com is easy. There's no need to create an account first. You will have done that once you've placed your first order online. (We can also accept orders by phone, fax or e-mail. )

    Finding Items

    First you will need to browse or search for the items you would like to order. Keyword search boxes are located on nearly every page of our store. You will also find links to browse lists and more detailed product-specific searches in the top navigation bar of each store. When you find an item that interests you, click the title or name of the item to see its detail page.

    Adding Items to Your Shopping Cart

    If you want to order an item, click the "Add to Shopping Cart" button on the left side of the detail page. Use the cart's top navigation bar or the "Continue shopping" button to keep searching or browsing until your cart contains all of the items you want to order. You can access the contents of your Shopping Cart at any time by clicking the View Cart()icon at the left side or top of every page of our Web site.

    Proceed to Checkout

    Take a moment to review all of the items you've placed in your Shopping Cart. To remove an item from your shopping cart, change the quantity to 0 and choose Update My Cart.

    Signing In

    If you are a new customer click on "Register and Continue Checkout" button. Enter your e-mail address and password(Keep in mind that the e-mail address you provide here will be the only e-mail address to which we can send information about subsequent orders.). Also your password will help you login later and place order quickly.

    Enter a Billing Address

    Your billing address should exactly as it is written on your credit card bill which you are going to use. Please provide us your phone number so if we need to contact you over phone we can do it quickly.
    Next screen will give you option of chosing "Add a Different Shipping Address". You can send your items to a different address too.

    For Gift Service please trype your Bangladesh(Dhaka) address.You can only select Items from our gift service section to be delivered to Dhaka,Bangladesh.
    You can not send other products to Bangladesh.

    Shipping options:
    If your mailing address is USA, you can choose USPS (United States Postal Service) Priyority Mail. For other part of the world you can choose USPS regular mail.
    We send phone card via email so if you are only buying phone cards the system will not give you option of shipping option.
    For Gift service please choose a shipping address of Bangladesh(Dhaka).

    Credit Card Information and Method of Payment

    Next, let us know how you would like to pay for your order. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Visa Check Cards, or a check, money order, or cashier's check denominated in U.S. dollars and drawn on a U.S. bank. All orders must be prepaid. If you're paying with a credit card, enter the number without spaces or dashes.

    Review and Submit Your Order

    Check the accuracy all of the information you provided and make any necessary adjustments. When you are ready, click the Place Your Order button to submit your order. Once you place your order, we will send you a confirmation e-mail message. We will send you another e-mail message at the time of shipment.

  1. What is VCD and How can I play it?

    VCD stands for 'Video Compact Disc' and basically it is a CD that contains moving pictures and sound. If you're familiar with regular audio/music CDs, then you will know what a VCD looks like. A VCD has the capacity to hold up to 74/80 minutes on 650MB/700MB CDs respectively of full-motion video along with quality stereo sound. VCDs use a compression standard called MPEG to store the video and audio. A VCD can be played on almost all standalone DVD Players and of course on all computers with a DVD-ROM or CD-ROM drive with the help of a software based decoder / player. It is also possible to use menus and chapters, similiar to DVDs, on a VCD and also simple photo album/slide shows with background audio. The quality of a VCD is about the same as VHS tape based movies.


    A VCD can be played on

    - Standalone VCD Players(very common in ASiA), check here for a compatibility list.
    - Almost all standalone DVD Players, check here for compability list
    - Playstations with VCD-addon (Playstation 2 does NOT support VCDs, read our DVD Players list for more info)
    - Sega Saturn with VCD-addon
    - Dreamcast with VCD-addon
    - And of course on all computers with a CD-ROMs/DVD-ROMs with a software VCD/MPG Player.

  1. What Credit Card does Bdbazar accept?

    You can safely enter your entire credit card number via our secure server. This encrypts all submitted information.

    If you are uncomfortable submitting your credit card number over the internet, you can omit it when filling out our on-line order form. When you have successfully completed your order, an order confirmation page will appear on your screen. This page will give you your order number, and explain to you how to call or fax in your credit card number to us. Be sure to tell us your order number when giving us your credit card information.

  1. How is shipping calculated?

    We charge shipping based on the actual weight or your purchase. Some companies charge excessive handling fees for orders; Bdbazar.com charges fair market shipping rates. We ship via UPS. The rates are 1-2 pounds, $3.55, 3-5 pounds $7.00, and 6+ pounds is $10.00.

  3. How and when do I receive my Prepaid Phone Cards?
    We provide Prepaid Phone Cards via email (Toll Free Number and Pin No.) within 24 hours of your order. If you send a check for your card, please note that we do not ship the physical card. You must provide an email address to receive PIN#.
    Your email will contain the toll free access number, the toll free customer service number, and the PIN number for each card that you purchase.

  4. How do I use my Prepaid Phone Card?
    You will first dial the toll-free access number provided at purchase or in the email. Next, you will enter the PIN number provided at the time of purchase or email, then last, for international calls, you will dial "011", then the Country Code, then the City Code (if applicable), then the telephone number you wish to call.
    For US domestic calls, dial "1", then the area code then the telephone number you wish to call.
    At the beginning of each call, you are notified how many minutes are remaining. When your card has one minute remaining, you are notified during your conversation.

    Our phone cards access numbers are in USA. All the rates provided in this site are good for USA only. Please contact customer services for the Canada rates

  7. Once I purchase a card, can I change my mind and return it?
    Sorry, once you receive your PIN# via instant process and/or email, you can not return it unless the PIN# is defective or non-usable. You may contact customers services to report any kind of problem may come using the calling card.

  1. What is the typical time lapse between placing an order and the actual delivery of services?
    For online gift services, we ask that the customer place the order at least 7 days prior to target delivery date. Any order placed less than 3 days(72 Hours) before requested delivery date will be treated as a rush order - please read the requirements of rush order below. Please note that to ensure quality and feshness of our products, all bdbazar.com gift orders will only be shipped within 9 AM to 9 PM oof working days. Generally, we are open for business everyday, however speciasl holidays or unusual circumstances may further shorten these hours.

  2. Can I place rush orders, and how?
    Rush orders are those where the order is being placed within 72 hours of the requested delivery of products or services. Please choose the option from bottom the products. For rush orders we can not gurantee to deliver on time. After you place the order we will let you know via email or phone.

  3. Are the items delivered as per the display on the webpage ?
    The products will match the image on the website as the images have been taken from the vendors from whom the final order is sourced. But bdbazar.com, in its absolute discretion, may deliver a similar / alternate product for reasons or exigencies beyond its control.

  4. What if you don't deliver or deliver late ?
    Sometimes due to circumstances beyond control, orders can not get delivered or are delivered late. In such situations bdbazar.com will not be liable for any claim, damages or refund. In exceptional cases and after examining all the circumstances, bdbazar.com, may at its absolute discretion give refund in full or in part. Refund given earlier to the user or to some other user on similar or different circumstances do not create any precedence or right with any user to get or claim any refund or damages from bdbazar.com. All refunds are subject to 10% deduction to cover Bank charges and our processing overheads.

  5. How do I know that the gift has been delivered on-time ?
    We generally update the status of the order within 48 HRS of delivery and also you can check the status of your order in the order tracking section at our site. Also, after the delivery we'll send you a confirmation by E-mail.

  6. Can you ensure a particular time of delivery ?
    Even though all your instructions are duly passed on to local city vendors and the courier companies, our experience has been that delivery at a particular time is not always practically possible in all cases.

    Yes, you may send a message along with your gifts. Just type in your message in the message box in the order form. Your message will be printed/hand written in a standard greeting card (free ofcourse) and sent along with the gift.

  8. What if the recipient's address is wrong, incomplete, misleading or the recipient no longer stays there or refuses the gift or the premises are locked or inaccessible ?
    We will pass on this information as soon as and if we get to know. In no circumstances, however, the refund will be made once the order is processed. The order shall be deemed to be processed once any step is taken and/or expence made and/or liability incurred by Indiagifthouse.com towards fulfillment of the order including (but not limited to) placement of orders with the vendors and/or purchase of items.
